To ensure you get the best results with your Smart Dog Collar, the collar should be well-fitted around your dog's neck, here are a few ways to choose the right size.
1/Measure and choose
Our best tip is to measure the regular collar of your dog and check if our S/M/L sizes match (you'll be able to check this out with the spreadsheet at the end of this page).
If your dog wears a harness, please measure the size of its neck. With the help of a measuring tape, bring it around your dog's neck and check how many centimeters/ inches that is.
In order for the collar to fit comfortably, you should be able to fit 2 fingers in between the skin of your dog and the tape measure or collar.
If the size of your dog is in between two sizes, we recommend that you choose the bigger one.
- Corresponding sizes :
- Size S is 30cm to 42cm / 11.5inches to 15.5inches
- Size M is 38cm to 54cm / 15inches to 21inches
- Size L is 50cm to 65cm / 19.5inches to 25.5inches
Your dog's size doesn't fit the categories above? No worries, our team is currently working on launching two new sizes: XS and XL.
2/Use the build of your dog to find the right strap size
If you don't have a measuring tape on hand, our team has compiled a spreadsheet with the recommended size depending on the breed of your dog and its weight (link below). This recommendation is based on the median weight of a dog, based on its breed. If your dog's weight is not represented in the file, it may be because the strap sizes available are not suitable for your dog, at this time. In this precise case, we do recommend that you measure your dog's neck as presented above.
